Finished a hand-done silkscreen and subsequent printing of Oscar Wilde with a sassy chapeau at a jaunty angle on his head. Series of 25 prints. Messy, paint-splattered house now.
I wanted to get at least one painting of Oscar in the 20th century since we have it in common.
I listened Claudio Arrau playing Liszts Transcendental Études, and Salt n Pepas Remix Hits while painting this subject because that seemed sufficiently absurd.
One does try to do things that would have pleased dear old Oscar.
